Mahmudul Hasan Masud is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Gono Bishwabidyalay (University). He joined the university as a Lecturer in September 2019 and has been serving as an Assistant Professor since July 2025. He completed his B.Sc. (Honours) in Microbiology from Gono Bishwabidyalay and his M.S. in Microbiology from Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University with.
His academic and research interests include molecular microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, bioinformatics, and public health microbiology. His research experience includes the isolation and characterization of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria, investigation of food- and water-borne pathogens, and molecular and computational approaches to microbial research. He has published research articles in national and international journals and has experience in teaching, laboratory research, student supervision, and scientific writing.
