Department of Economics is supporting department of Gono Bishwabidyalay. To introduce some economical concepts associated with producing, presenting and interpreting of graph and mathematical term, to develop skills of economical information. The objective of economics is the student will define and apply the concepts of supply and demand to household economic issues as well as aggregate supply and demand to national economic issues and provide clear ideas to students on the concepts of methods of price determination, consumer choice theory, economic growth and development theories and etc. In modern time economics play vital role for sustainable development goal (SDG) of a country. Considering the importance of economics, Gono Bishwabidyalay authority considered that it should be learned for students of different departments.
