German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)
German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) gives financial support to develop medical physics in Bangladesh since 2002. Students, teachers, clinical medical physicists and technicians who have been visited various institutions in Germany for education and training purpose in the field of medical physics got funds from DAAD. Seminars, meeting and conferences are also arranged with support from DAAD.
Students who visit various universities and hospitals in India or China get financial support for accommodation, food, travel and health in cheap costs.
Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP), University Grant Commission (UGC), Bangladesh
HEQEP is supporting MPBME department, Gono Bishwabidyalay in order to enhance and develop medical physics and biomedical engineering education. Teaching aids, laboratory equipments and IT facilities are being developed with support from HEQEP.
Tuition Fee Waiver
Students can get various waiver based on their performance. These are –
➢ Students with 90% of attendance in all subjects in specific semester and obtain minimum “B”
grade in all subjects will waive 25% of tuition fee.
➢ Students with 90% of attendance in all subjects in specific semester and obtain minimum “A”
grade in all subjects will waive 50% of tuition fee.
➢ Students with 90% of attendance in all subjects in specific semester and obtain minimum “A+”
grade in all subjects in will waive 75% of tuition fee.
