I have been leading several scientific projects focused on the development of diagnostic and optical devices for medical applications, funded by various industries, government agencies, and universities. The findings from these projects were reported to the funders and scientific journals as part of the progress and completion of the projects. Some of the notable projects related to medical devices include:

§ Study of Skin Tissue Penetration and Dispersion Mechanisms of Microjets for High-Efficiency Drug Injection and Delivery: Fluid-Tissue Interaction.

§ Investigation on penetration and dispersion mechanism of microjet in skin tissue for high-efficiency drug injection and delivery: Fluid-tissue interaction.

§ Non-invasive Laser Speckle Imaging for Depth-Resolved Skin Temperature Mapping.

§ The study of skin heat transfer on a contact with radiant warmers to establish a guideline for skin burn.

§ Development of innovative automatic CD4+ T-Cell counting platform for remote HIV/AIDS monitoring in developing regions.

§ Development of a Sample Cartridge Using a 3D Spiral Microfluidic Channel and Nut-and-Bolt Mechanism and Its Application to Bio/Environmental Particulate Sample Analysis.

§ Automation of zebrafish experiment for studying vascular development.
