Program offers
The Department currently offers a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) program of 4 years and a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) program of 1 year. The total credit for the BPharm program is 160, divided into 8 semesters, each lasting 6 months. The BPharm program has been designed to enable students to acquire basic knowledge in rudimentary subjects. To serve this purpose, complementary subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, Environmental Science, English and Bangla have been incorporated into the curriculum along with the core subjects of Pharmacy. In the later four semesters, students gain access to in-depth knowledge of diverse fields in Pharmacy. Moreover, students must participate in “In-plant Training” to gain practical experience with the pharmaceutical activities conducted in industries.
