Why LLB at GB

In the present world, our country is developing day by day. With the development of the present society and economy, the need to improve the law and order situation in the country is highly required to insure justice. To be educated in law is one kind of indespensible matter for the purpose of resolving inter-personal conflicts, controlling law and order situation, insuring justice and for applied learning. Department of Law, Gono Bishwabidyalay is duly committed to provide the legal learning that is ethical, service-oriented and appreciative of diversity and committed to continuing education which will help students build a framework for life. In addition to the major in Legal Studies, to develop their abilities to communicate, both orally and in writing, to think critically and creatively, and to access, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information, students will receive a well-rounded general education with exposure to the traditional liberal arts fields of study.

As this is one of the prestigious departments of this university having facilities with large library, air-conditioned reading room, moot court practice, opportunity of court visit, it would be a proper decision for the studnets to study in this department to be a competent person. The students of this department, after successfully completing the LLB (honours), will have the opportunity to compete for judicial service, to be a good lawyer and to become a desirous job holder in the present job market.
