Dr. Pijush Kumar Paul completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Gono Bishwabidyalay (University) and joined the same Department of Pharmacy in 2009 as a teaching assistant. He obtained his Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Asia Pacific and received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2017 from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He pursued postdoctoral training at the School of Pharmacy, Fudan University affiliated with Tongji University, China, for 1 year. Additionally, he completed another postdoctoral fellowship at the Drug Delivery System Excellence Center, Prince of Songkhla University, Thailand, for one and a half years before resuming his duties in 2024. Dr. Pijush is an experienced researcher with expertise in drug delivery/formulation, nanotechnology, drug development, molecularly imprinted polymer, lipid nanoparticles, pulmonary drug delivery, microfluidics, and 3D-printing. He has published numerous articles on protein drug delivery, polymeric nanoparticles, molecular imprinting techniques, and solid lipid nanoparticles in high-impact journals such as the International Journal of Pharmaceutics, Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B, Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology, Journal of Materials Research and Technology, Journal of Pharmaceutical Science, and Acta Pharmaceutica. Dr. Paul has also obtained a patent and published a book chapter. He has presented his research work at international conferences as an invited speaker in various countries, including Thailand, Singapore, and England.
