Bangladesh is a developing country and has so many disturbances in the state. Education is one of the vital issues in our country. There are various types of education system in Primary to Higher Secondary level, and University level is giving uniform education system for every branch, but the graduates of our country are not adjustable in global standard. In 1992 Bangladesh government took decision to implement private University act, after then more than 97 private Universities have established in our country and Gono Bishwabidyalay is one of them. There are some differences between urban and rural education policy and there arise a big demand of qualified teachers for basic courses in the rural area. For that, Gono Bishwabidyalay has established the department of Applied Mathematics in 2010-11 academic sessions for offering the B.Sc. (Hon\u2019s) degree in Applied Mathematics.<\/p>\n
The department has so far admitted students in 22 batches, out of which 14 batches have successfully graduated and 8 batches are studying currently. In today\u2019s world, Applied Mathematics is being applied extensively in all areas of job, business, economy and society formation. Like many other developing nations, the benefits of studying Applied Mathematics in Bangladesh are expanding.
